Fire at Napier

[ PER UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION. 1 INapieb, This Day. Little after one o'clock this morning a fire broke out in Colledges jeweller's j shop, and spread to Naphtah's (pawnbroker) and Goodwin (butcher) m Hastings street. All the three premises were completely gutted. Insurances :—Colledges: building, £200 in Victoria; stock, £400 iv South British, £250 in Imperial, £250 in Phcetiix. Naphtali and Goodwin's shop 9 were owned by the New Zealand Insurance Company, which runs its own risk. Naphtali's stock was insured in the Norwich Union for £570. A good deal of Colledge's stock is uninjured, and a considered quantity of Naphtali's was saved.
