A SHOCKING CONSPIRACY.

A despatch has been received here from Berlin of a sensationallnature. 1 1 states that Sir Morell Mackenzie frus •» trated a plot to prevent the Emperor Frederick from succeeding to the Throne. The other medical men intended te excise the larynx, and thus render the Prince ineligible to assume the monarchy.
Berlin, March 20.
The Emperor Frederick, in a message to the Diet, solemnly undertakes to adhere to the Constitution.
The Emperor Frederick, in his message to the Reichstag, said he would follow his father's example, and foster the welfare of the people, safeguard the honor of the empire, and maintain peace. He thanked the Deputies for their unana imity in providing for the increase of the defensive power of the country; - The Emperor Frederick proclaims that he is determined to preserve Alsace and Lorraine, and to cultivate German ideas and opinions thero.
