There seems, however, to be a general impression that pricesfor all descriptions of grain and produce are, this seaßon, to beat their lowest 'limits; and it is openly stated by those in a position to make the announcement, that the Australian markets will not operate to a ' great extent with New Zealand, in consequence of all wants being supplied by the local producing districts, Oats continue to rule at Is 9d to 2s per bushel ; oatmeal, L 9 6s ; chaff, L 3 to L 4; roller floor, old, L 9 15s, new L 9 6* ; ditto stone process, 10s per ton reduction ; foils' wheat, 2s lOd to- 3s; bran, I4J; pollard is briskly inquired for by dairy farmers for winter feed, and prices have advanced to L 3 10s per ton; maize, 4s ; feed barley, 2s iOd to 3s ; potatoes^ L 3 ; fair samples ditto, L 2 15s ; onions, L 6 to L 5 10s; peas. 3s 9d ; garden seed peag; 6s ; beans, 3s lOd ; rye grass, 3s to 4s 6d per bushel 3^d to 4sd per lb; fresh butter, 6d to 6Jd ; houey, 4d ; cheese. 4d to 4|d ; hams and bacon 7sd ; eggs, Is 2d per doz The demand for fruit has brightened up a little, and sharper oompetitioit was manifested at yesterday and tO'day'B aalea of Sobart and Sydney produce.
