Borough Matters
TO THB EDITOR OF THE STAR.
! Sib, — Can you. tell me who are the | members of the Public Woris Comi mittee of the Feilding Borough Goutteil and of what use they are, as such, to the Borough or the ratepayers of Feilding, arid why they so far neglect their duties as to let wbris- of importance go unnoticed after their attention is called to them? Take, for instance, the Kiwitea stream, which has alreadj cost the ratepayers of Feilding a good sum of money through the Public Works Committee neglecting to have a log cut out. in time, and will cost a goed sum yet if allowed to go neglected as it has been. ,If lam not, greatly mistaken their attention was called, some two months ; ago, to a lot of logs and rubbish accumulating, at two or three of the bends in the stream near the Kimbolton road. If they had been removed when first mentioned it would have cost but a trifle to what it will if they are neglected much longer. — I am, &c. Ratepayer.
