The Great Barrier Murderers

[PEE UNITED PKESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, February 4. The convict Peuu was visited by liis relatives yesterday. Both he and Caffrey spent their time in reading religious books. Dunedin, February 4. An Executive meeting is to be held at the Governor's residence, at 4 o'clock this afternoon, to consider the Great Harrier case. Later. Messrs Larnach and Reynolds waited on the Governor to-day, and it was expected that a meeting of the Executive Council would be held to consider the case of the Great Barrier Island murderers, but no such meeting was held. It is understood that ail the papers and opinions of the members of the Ministry have not yet reached here, but as soon as they do the case will be taken into'consideration.
