Sir Julius Yogel and the Dunedin Press

Sir Julius Yogel has issued a challenge to the Dnnedin newspapers who criticised his recent address on Protection, in Dunedin, to refute and rebut the arguments he put forward. Tho judge to decide the matter may be outside the colony, but must not be a partisan of either Protection or Free Trade. If the papers succeed Sir Julius will give £10 to the Benevolent Institution. The challenge is issued through the Local Protection League.
