I London, December 21, The Agents-General of the Australian colonies have unitedly expressed themselves in favor of the English and French Governments assuming joint jurisdiction over the New Eebrides. (PKB VNITKD PKI SS ASSOCIATION ) Auckland, December 22. News from Noumea statps that H M.S. Swinger had arrived from the New Hebrides on December 9. The Duchaffaut also returned with fifty invalid French soldiers, and only fifty j soldiers are now left to guard the French flap at the New Hebrides during the fever season. A French paper, Independence, says — " There is a recrudescence of English propaganda by missionaries in the New Hebrides, but wnen we have definitely annexed we will treat those fellows in the same way as we treated English missionaries iv the Loyalty Islands.
