The Teetulpa Goldfields

Adelaide, November 22. Tho Senior Warden of the Court of Australian Goldfields has visited Teetulpa diggings, and gives the following particulars to a reporter of the Eegister:— lt is a fact that Gtoslin's Gully has. proved payable. I ana convinced Dorden's Gullies would ba equally rich, large, and permanent if the field were opened up. For some weeks only the color was found in Goslin's Gully ; but payable, and indeed rich, finds nay» been made there lately, and it has proved nearly as rich as Brady's. I believe the same thing will happen with regard to Strawbridge's Gully, which an exactly similar appearance of Brady's and Goslin's some distance off. There are now 200 men working in it and without doubt payable gold wiH soon be got. A very large quantity of gold has been found on the field I never hear of. Storekeepers tell me they could purchase, even £2000 worth of gold in one day without difficulty. Mr Levien, storekeeper, says, he has weighed an immense quantity of gold since he has been up there. Another storekeeper has sent down 54ozs of gold on Wednesday night for Moßougall, a man from whom be purchased an Boz nugget. I believe- hundredsof men have got considerable quantities of gold wnich have never been made public. The diggers cannot get more than £3 tOs per ounce on the> field, and it is unsafe to send gold through the post, and it is certainly unsafe for it to be- known that any man has a large quantity of gold im his tent. Teetulpa gold is worth considerably more- thaw* £3 10s per oz. It is rather diffieajft to. istimat©' the quantity of gold gofr at ft&e d>gg*ttgs : — certainly many thpusaiadi pounds* worth nave been fi-ni-ndk Thieve. are between 2500 au4 3000. iwttoatte Md at present.
