A Sad Case
A sad case of suicide occurred near Eobertsou (N.S.W.) a few days ago, the victim being Lawrence Egan, the father of the young girl who was alleged to have been brutally outraged by a number of roughs a short time ago. The deceased had been in a semi-demented state for some months past, but the recent occurrence in which bis second daughter figured so prominently, added to another domestic trouble that has since overtaken him, seems t© have been too much for his weakened reason, which broke down under the severe strain. He was found early on Sunday morning with a strap round Ms neck, hanging from his bed-post. :
