The ordinary monthly meeting was iield on Saturday last. Present— Messrs Taylor (chairman), Mcßeth, Williamson, and Bruee. The minutes ©f the previous meeting were read and confirmed. i:r CORRESPONDENCE. From S. Goodbehere, solicitor, with certificate of title for land taken for road deviation, Cheltenham road. From D. Mcßeth, asking permission to fail the road liae adjoining Ms section ori-Mcßeth's road. FrepaiCi E. Gagern," applying for permission to fall bush on the road fine fronting sections 9 and 10 in the feilding Small Farm Block. From D. Kilgour, asking permission to fall bush on road line fronting 229. From John Saxon, re trees fallen Across the Pohangina road. Petition from settlers in the Harbor Board, Block, asking the Board to apply for a loan of £3,600 under the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, to make roads in the^ Pohangina "Ward. A deputation waited on the Board in support of the petition. Resolved, That Messrs Gagern, Kilgour, and Mcßeth be granted the permission to fall the road lines on the Board's usual terms.
