ASSESSMENTS AND APPROPRIATIONS.

At a meeting of the Diocesan Synod last night, the Financial Committee reported on the assessments and appropriations for the current year, which were as follows : — Assessments: Christ Church, Wanganui, £300 ; IVildingand Halcombe, £250; Palme iston N., £250; Marton, Turakina, and Tutaeuui, £200 ; Sandon, £50 ; Bulls, £50 ; Campbelltown, £25 ; Fuxtou and Oroua Downs, £70 ; Hawera, £250 ; Wanganui parochial district, £175; Patea and Waverley, £250. The appropriations are: Christ Church, Wanganui, £300; Feilding, £275; Palmerston N., £250; Bulls, &«., £225, (including house rent) ; "Wanganui parochial district, £190 (including house rent); Hawera, £250; Patea, £250. Grant to Wanganui parochial district for parsonage, £30. The following supplementary appropriations are made contingent on being available : Feilding, £25 ; Bulls, £25.
