[BEtJTEBS TEI.EOBi.MS.? Mklbouhne, August 26. A deputation to day vraited upoa the. Commissioner of Trade Customs to urge the abolition of the gristing of oats similarly to that of wheat in bond. The commissioner argued there was ne parallel between wheat and oats, unless it was shown that the importation of the latter from New Zealand nffected the price of Victorian oats. He promised, however, to consider tue representations made bj the deputation. Laukceston, August 26. A six days' aud nights' walking match is to be commenced on Sunday (?) between the American walker, Harriiuan, and Scott, of New Zealand. Sydney, August 26. New Zealand wheat, 4s 4d per bushel ; New Zealand oats, 2s 6d ; maize, 561 b*, 3s 3d; sugar, unchanged; pollaid, Is per bushel ; potatoes, 75s per ton.
