PROROGATION OF PARLIAMENT.

A message was here received desiring the attendance of members in the Legislative Council Chamber te hear the Commission of Prorogation read. The Commissioners appointed by his Excellency the Governor, consisting of Sir Frederick Whitaker, the Hon. Mr Buckley, Major Baillie, and Mr Reynolds, prorogued Parliament in the presence of 10 members of the ; Council, the Speaker, and 26 mem- - hers of the House.
