The passengers are nearly all young men, and most of them are of the labouring classes. Their outfits are generally fairly complete, and several of those on board have capital to invest in the Kimberley district if the •goldfields prove a success. Nemur had reached there with a number of fully-equipped diggers ou board. Further particulars bave been revived from the, diggers. The geld at Brockman'a creek, a tributary of the Elvira, is scattered -about ia small patches. Indications fc of gold have been found 100 miles Bearer Derby. The diggers are very j-jfericont, and the present information is uwufiScieut to warrant the suppositlom tbat it is a permanent field, or ounicient to justify a big rush.
