The Kimberley Goldfields
The sum of £10,000 has been voted for the erection of a bonded warehouse -and for harbor improvements at .Derby. There are 400 miners on the field from Derby, and 300 from Cambridge Gulf.
Derby is the cheapest market for supplies. \ There is no water Vithin three miles of the diggings, and in the dry season the -miners will have to go twice that -distance.
Eight hundred ounces of gold have already reached Derby, and there is supposed to be more in the hands of the diggers. Diggers should land with at least £100 to get an outfit for a three or -four months trip.
