Although large quantities of Eiver Plate mutton have been placed on the Home Market, the New Zealand shipments have easily held the first place in favour and price. Dunedin.— The s.s. Jtuupehu has just loaded up 6.7so carcases mutton, prepared At the Bnrnside Freezing Works. This shipment will be followed by about 4,500 carcases per s.s Kaikoura. leafing here about the middle »f June. Christchurch. — The u.s. Coptic fc,ft Lyttelton on Ist instant, with 7.750 carcases mutton and 3,550 carcases lamb Tne it.M.S. Kuupehu is now receiving from the Belfast Freezing StorVs a nhipmentof 7,m,0t0 8,000 carcase* mutton. At the Factory, slau. hterinfc haa begun for a shipment of about 7,000 carcases for the s.s. Tainni, to hail at the end of the present month.
