A Bill defining the status of foreign companies transacting businees in the . colonies was read a second time to-day . but it is not intended to .proceed with it any further , during the present - session of the Council with the view of enabling all the colonies to acquire i full knowledge of its provisions. A Bill for enforcing judgement .. within the limits of the Australian •„.-,, Federation- was passed through com- < . mittee. v A motion was brought forward for producing all papers relative to the S adniihistration of New Guinea, ; a debate ensued till the time of adjourment.
