"We have received from the Captain of the Foxton Football Team the following letter relative to the match played with the Feilding Team on Saturday last. TO THE EDITOR «F THE STAB. Sin, — As it does not appear to be understood by the Feilding Footballers that the game was a draw, would you kindly insert that we claim it as such, and that if possible we should be most happy to have another match at Foxton to decide it, at an early date, if it could be arranged. — I am., &c, L. S. Gbegson, Captain, Foxton Football Club. The Feilding Club claim the match as a win by two points. They are not aware of any- dispute.
