Anderson v Mrs Margaret Johnston. — Rescuing six cattle 'from'" the pound. Case dismissed.

Margaret Johnston v Joseph Olliver. —For assault. Defendant was found guilty, and fined 10s and costs 28s.

Joseph Olliver t Margaret Johnston. — For using obscene language in a public place. Defendant was found guilty and sentenced to four hours imprisonment, and to pay costs 28s. ;

Basmus Anderson ▼ Margaret Johnston. — Claim £5 for damages sustained by impounding a cow and calf on her land for 25 hours without food or waiter. Judgment for plaintiff for £1 and costs 255.

Heappy v Margaret Johnston.— Claim £5, damages for cattle trespassing. Judgment for plaintiff for £1, with costs £1 13s.

This was all the business, and the court then adjourned.
