Mr Eobert Mcßeth, of Kiwitea, met with a somewhat severe accident a few days ago. He was walking along the barrel of a fallen tree, and in stepping on to one of the branches his foot slipped, and he fell violently across the log, severely straining and bruising himself. So much so, indeed, that he was confined to bed for several days. He has now almost recovered from his injuries.
