Wellington, August 28. The no>confidence debate is very lively to-night, seme hard hitting going on all round. The feature of the evening was a bitter personal attack on tbe Hon. Mr Stoat by Mr Ormond, who made a long speech, charging Mr Stout with thr«wing ever all his old theories. Mr Stout took up the gauntlet, and made what is said by all to hare been the best speech of the session. He betrayed great personal feeling, and hit out at Mr Ormond with all kis might. Tbe applause from time to time was very ««?at.
