A tragedy occurred at Hope thio mornmg, when Robert Tovey, a butober, was found in the slaughterhouse with his throat cut. Aa inquest has been held, and after a long discussion the jury returned a verdict, "That Bobert Tovey accidentally fell on a knife, which he held ia his hands while dividing a carcase of meat, and in the fall he accidentally cut his throat," »..,<;.
