Fire at Wanganui

[FEB UNITED PBESS ABSOCIATIOH.] Wanganci, This Day. A fire broke out yesterday morning in a house situated at the corner of Churton and Ingestre-streets, owned by Mr R. Openshaw. engineer on the s.s. Waitara. Hie building was totally destroyed. Very little was saved. Mr Openshaw had £200 insurance on the house and £40 on the furniture, both in the London and Lancashire office. Unfortunately he had left in a drawer a large sum of money, viz, 21 £5 notes, and three £1 notes, the numbers of which are not known.
