Wool Sales
(BKUTEE's TELEGBAMS.) Melboubne, Nov. 6. The New Zealand Loan aud Mercantile Agency Company held their nsual weekly wool sale to-day. The catalogue consisted chiefly of small lots, tho quantity offered amounting to 2,900 bales. The competition for all the lots was keen up to a certain price, and the bulk was cleared at satisfactory rates. The prices wore considerably better for light greasy cross-breds, which sold up to 12Jd, with abatements for farmers' lots. The rates were generally firm at last week's prices. Greasy merinos brought Is lld, and scoured wools sold up to la B}d.
