A terrible railway accident occurred last night, about 10 o'clock, on the Horsham line, near Little Hirer Station, about thirty miles from this citjr. - A passenger train from Ballarat came into collision with a special . cattle train, from Melbourne. Two persons were killed, nnd many severely wounded. Another accident occurred last night onthe Echuca line at Sunbury, 24 miles from Melbourne. The boiler of the engine burst, and the driver severely hurt. The fireman of the engine is niissiug. : ! . • " < ■ Colombo, April 2. Arrived yesterday, the P. and O. steamship Sutley, from Australia, homeward bound. With the Australian cricketers, who are passengers, are reported all well.
