Sheep Stealing
♦ (PEE TTNITE» PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Timauxt, This Day. Charles Fobel, alias Defevre, a mnn not unknown 10 the police, was committed for trial yesterday on two charges of sheep stealing. He was a bush man living under the range on Mr Teschemaker's run, and with another bushuoan. went pig hunting. The got no pigs, and being determined not to go home without meat, he shot one sheep and set his dogs on another, killed both and took (heir carcases home, hiding the skins. Ten days later he went out " pig" bunting a^ain and caught a sheep. His accomplice gave information about both. cases immediately after each.
