(PEB UNITED PBISS ASSOCIATION.) DtrNiww, 'Ibis Day. At the Police Court to-day, William Leekie, a young man, waa charged with rape on Isabella Bicbardson, a girl of fifteen. The proiecotrix was sewing in accused's fathers-h ouse, and it is alleged that the prisoner accomplished his purpose by violence. Mrs Leckie, uowever, the acensed's mother, deposed that she found the two in a bedroom, and the proxecutrix was laughing. Witness struck her, and ordered her away. The Bench reserved -judgment
