Makino Road School.

This school was examined by the Inspector of Schools, Mr Foulis, on Monday the Bth inst. There were 65 children in attendance, of whom 40 vrere formally presented, 2 were examined with Standard 11. 4 with Standard I, and 19 below Si.inda-d I. TLe results were as follows : — Standard I: FnU passes— Jno. Bly, Wm London, Henry Dallison, Carl Wichman. Jno. Humphrey, Arthur Newell, Alfred Meads, Albert Gatbrie, Annie Gray, Catherine Malone, Minnie Adams, und Annie Hoski ng. Pass— Juatina Bly. Presented 13 ; all passed. Standard II: Pull passes— George Georpe, Geo. Slubbia'ton, James Gould, Cbas. Gardner, Wm. Jones, Peter Apel, Chas Guthrie, Jens Potersen, Bosinaßly, Mary A. Bly and Alice Gould.
