Furious Hiding.
TO THS KDITOR OF THB 6TA2*. Sib, — On Thursday* evening, about 10 o'clock, two youths residing some distance up the Makino road, were galloping their • horses at a furious rate up Manchester stree*-, and on reaching the Camden street corner they made no abatement of speed. As many persons were on the road returning from the panorama, .including a good nnmber of children, and tht^nighfc dark, there was great danger of an accident. I warned these luds, but they took no heed. Knowing who they were, however, I hnve written to their friends, informing them what the Borough byelaws are in the matter, and cautioning then, that if I find them repeating their foolish and dangerous practice, I shall certainly lay an information against them before a Magistrate. I have adopted this as the milder course in the firstinstance, and having done so, and given my name, this excuses me from publishing it, especially as I withold the names of the lads in question.— l am,;__c., • Public S__.ir.T_*.
