In the Legislative Assembly last night Cole's motion of censure on tne land administration of the Government came up for discussion. The debate lasted during the sitting and was finally adjourned. The motion is not expected to be carried. Melbocune, This Day. The libel action, Hunt v Age newspaper, has resulted in a verdict for the plaintiff, with damages one farthing. (pee united press association.) Auckland. This Day. The Rev E. N. Bree, incumbent of the Ponsonby Anglican Church, died last night, aged 76. The body of Mr Firth, the tourist drowned at Ohimeuiutu, has been recovered.
