The Frozen Meat Trade.
«, [PEE TJNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, This Day. The steamer Fenstanton sailed today with a full cargo of wool and grain and 7840 sheep, and four bags of ducks. There are twenty-two different shippers of meat, which was all frozen by local Refrigerating Companies. The average weight per carcase is 67£lbs, with 200 carcases, ihe new experiment has been tried of sending Home only the prime parts, namely, the saddles and legs. It is likely fmir more steamers will be despatched from hero during tho year with frozen meat.
