Harry Jackson, suspected of shooting at Mr John Deans a year ago, has been arrested on & charge of assaulting another man. Fuchs, whose wife had her foot crushed by the Wakatipu at the Sailors' Home excursion, sues the Union Steamship Company for damages. The company has not replied to her solicitor's demand. New Plymouth, This Day. At the Supreme Court to-day Hon Ngaero, alias Te Koti, was charged with stealing a horse from Co nwall, at Stratford, was found not guilty, aad discharged.
