Friday, Apbil 13. (Before F. Y. Lethbbidge and D. H. Macabthtjb, Esqs., J.P'a.) IABCKNY. Tui Mutiahu v Tarapata. The prisoner was charged with the larceny, as a bailee; on the 7th instant, of a bay gelding of the value of £7, the property of the plaintiff. Both parties . reside at Kakariki. The charge as origin;illy made included a saddle and bridle, but this portion of the indictment was withdrawn. In consequence of there being no licensed interpreter to be obtained, the Justices refused to take the responsibility of hearing the case, and remanded it to Palmerston.
