Smith was found guilty, and sentenced to three years' penal servitude. Shaw was discharger. Thorp-, teller of the Bank of Victoria who was sentenced on N'>vembersth, 1881, to two years imprisonment for embezzlement, has now been released from gaol. It is reported that Navigator has shown signs of lameness.
