Mr Dick said that when the vote £6000, on the estimates, was brought down, he he would also. submit 4 resolution as to the equitable distribution thereof. He asked that the resolution be withdrawn. Sir John Hall; suggested, that the reso. lution of the Government should be sub- . mi t ted as an amendment "upon' Mr Smith's r,esolutioa.
