As a result of the P. and T. Ball held on Monday evening, the funds of the Franklin Plunket Society will benefit to the extent of £8 3s Id.

The second ol' the series of euchre tournaments conducted by SI. Andrew’s Ladies’ Guild took place on Wednesday evening in Middlemiss' Hall, and proved a great success.
