WEDDING BELLS.
JOHNSON RYAN. A wedding of great interest to a large number of .Papakuka residents took place one clay lasrt week in Sri Benedict’s Church, Auckland, when the onlv daughter of Mr and Mrs Jas. Ryan (of the Papakura Hotel) was united in marriage to Mr \V. FI. Johnson, of Auckland., the officiating clergyman being the Rev. fauier Ormond. The bride looked charming in a beautiful dress of white brocaded satin ,overt which fell a bridal vdil, the whole surmounted by a wreath of orange blossoms. The bridesmaids, Miss Smith, ground in lemon taggett and georgette with hat to match, and Miss Neiicl, in pale blue satin, with hat to match, and Miss Lucy Honeycombe, in pale blue satin, with hart to match. The bridegroom was supported by his brother, Mr C. Johnson. After me ceremony the guests were entertained at breakfast by Mk and Mrs Ryan, the function being held jn the Piccadilly. Toasts were drank, and the happy couple received showers off o-ooxi wishes, Mr and Mrs W. HJohnson left by the Wellington express foir a tour of the North and South islands.
