MARKET REPORT, The Franklin Farmers’ Austioneeriging Co., Ltjdt, report:— AJt our usual weekly sale on Friday we had an average number/ of pigs entered, and sold at prices in favour of buyers as compared with previous sales. We-quote : Weaners 10s to 16s,> slips 18s to 20s. In poultry we had goojd entiles and sold at good prices, with an eager demand unsatisfied. Hens 2s 9d to 3s 3d, heavy sorts up ito 4s. Cauliflowers came forward in good quantities and sold ffieely at from 3s 6H. to 12 dozen. Cabbage 2s 6d to 3s 6d dozen, Apples : Only poor grades entered and sold at 3s case. Onions 2d lb; cajrrots sst cwt ; bacon 8d to 9d lb. Chaff S4s 6d bag. Hpring cai«t and harness £l9, Sundries found purchasers at usual rates. Furniture was not in demand and hard to quit.
