POLICE COURT.
ALLEGED INDECENT ASSAULT. (Before Mr Webster, J.P.) A shorjt sitting of the Police Court was held, in Pukekohe on Wednesday last before Mr F. Webster, J.P.., when George * Hammerton, of Mercer, was charged that on or about December 23rd, at Mercer, he did indecently assault Alima Dorothy Hammerton, his daughter. Accused was remanded to Auckland, and applied for bail. Costnable Horan, of Mercer, asked for surety for £2OO, and accused did not accept.
