MARKET REPORT.

FRANKLIN FARMERS’ AUCTIONEERING CO., LTD.

The Franklin Farmers’ Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At our weekly sale on Friday pigs came forward in average numbers, with prices about 5s advance upon last week’s prices for weaners. Prices realised : Weaners (small) 8s to 11s, better quality 12s to 17s, sow, wittt litter £7. At the mart we had heavy entries in all lines. Poultry sold at good prices. Hens (light) 3s to 3s 3d, heavier 3s 9d to 4s 9d, roosters 4s 6d to 5s 6d. We had a full yarding- with an unsatisfied demand. Other lines sold : Potatoes 13s to 14s, cabbage Is Gel to 3s dozen, rhubarb 8s dozen. A large quantity of furniture sold at good prices. Harness was dud of sale.
