Who was responsible for the erection of the .new tank and stand and what they said when they found i\t had collapsed, and why they tried to blame some innocent, stray animal. HEARD AT PUKEKOHE EAST. First farmer: The rabbits are very bad just now. They take the bark from the young trees. Second farmer : That’s nothing. I’ve seen them take (the bark from the dogs. It is said that the rabbits are so bad on a certain Puke East farm that it is not safe for a dog to be alone.
