RUSSIAN FAMINE RELIEF FUND.
TO THE RESIDENTS OF PUKEKOHE.
As many of you are aware, famine conditions prevail in Russia, and in view of this, steps have been taken to do something to relieve the necessities of the famine-stricken. The British Government has appointed an Administrator to control the expenditure of the relieff und, and Lord Jellicoe requests that donations for the above purpose be forvtfarded to him, and he will remjt to the proper authority in England. To bring the master before you, the “Times” has kindly consented to publish this letter, and also to receive and acknowledge donations in its columns. Seeing that you live in a land of plenty, I trust that you will respond and assist so worthy an object.— Yours faithfully, JOHN ROUTLY.
