A.M.R. CAMP AT CLEVEDON.
CGiYIMENCSNG ON SATURDAY. Arrangements for the Mounted Rifles camp at Clevedon are progressing satisfactorily and the camp, with regard to both training and recreation, should be a marked success., About 50 men of “B" squadron are to be. under canvas from September 10 to 18 and on Saturday, ,17th, theremuining- 50 men are to parade at Clevedom
The squadron is to be inspected on Saturday morniny, Sept. 17, by Col. Commandant H. R. Potter,. C.M.G., O.C. Command, and by Lt.Col. McKenzie, D. 5.0., O.C. 3rd A.M.R. in the afternoon a highly ininteresting sports programme is being arranged. A great deal depends on the success of this camp as, if it is successful, camps on similar lines will be arraned in future years, the men thus carrying out the training for the whole year in a seven days’ camp.
