BUCKLAND SCHOOL.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I , would like to point out that Mr Allan, in his tetter of the | 19th inst. has made two big misi takes. First, he states that there is ]no School Committee in Buckland, g
end asks how then can Mr Neal bo chairman of a committee r.on-exis-tent. According to the Education Board's regulations, the old committee holds office until a new committee or commissioner has been ap* pointed, which was not done unt-U tc-day. Second, in my letter of the 16 th inst, I did not ask for money or help for the School Committee, as Mr Allan states, but for the school grounds’ Improvement Committee, which is still in existence and doing good work. As for the reasons of no school committee having been elected at the annual meeting, I am net a thought reader, so leave it for those who refused to stand tc s'tato their reasons. With apologies for taking up so much of your valuable Space. I am, etc., E. NEAL. Buckland School Commissioner,
