INJURED AT FOOTBALL MATCH.
SLIGHT OPERATION NECESSARY.
Whilst playing footoall last year, a member of the Pukekohe junior fifteen, Mr A. L. Middlemiss, received a knock in the stomach, but the injury soon mended and he was able to continue playing. On Saturday last, whilst playing against the Bombay juniors he received a bump on the same spot but continued playing until the game was concluded. Upon arriving home he felt somewhat upset, and fnedical aid was summoned, arjid it was found that the injuries, although not severe, necessitated a slight operation. Aubrey was admitted to the Auckland Hospital yesterday to undergo the operation. It is expected he will not be in the institution for any length of time. His many football colleagues and friends all wish him a speedy recovery.
