SOCIAL FUNCTIONS.

MANCHESTER UNITY LODGE DANCE.

The annual social of the Loyal Pukekohe Lodge, M.IL, 1.0.0. F., A.D,., took- place in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Wednesday last, and was largely attended. The floor was in perfect condition and was taxed to its utmost capacity. Dance music was supplied by Mr and Mrs Harriman (violin and piano respectively, while extras were contributed by Misses R.. Waring and I. Duncan. The duties of M.’sC. were carried out by Messrs G. Flavell, C. Fulton and J. Weston., Supper was partaken of and duly appreciated. The function was a huge success from all points of view and credit is dug to the energetic secretary, Mr J. A. Nodwell, who worked assiduously throughout. The event was one of the 'most enjoyable yet held in the hall. HOCKEY CLUB DANCE. The social and dance held in. the Oddfellows’ Hall on Saturday night under the auspices of the Pukekohe Hockey Club was a huge success. Music was contributed by Mr and Mrs Ksrriman, extras being rendered by Misses R. Waring, I. Duncan and Zinzan. The duties of M.’sC. were efficiently carried out by Messrs. N. Stuart and G. FlavelL A sumptuous supper was handed round and duly appreciated. The function proved thoroughly enjoyable throughout.
