PERSONAL.
Mr. T. Scobie Cornish, of Onewhero, was duly sworn in as a J.P. at the S.M. Court at Pukekohe yesterday by Mr R. M. Watson S.M. At yesterday's meeting of the Franklin County Council, Mr A. F. Brown wrote accepting appointment as the Council's representative on the Advisory Committee of the Pukekohe Technical High School. He stated he took a keen interest in school v/ork, and was always willing to accept suggestions from the Council. He would report from time to time on matters of interest to the Council.
