HARVEST FESTIBALS.

PUKEKOHE SERVICES. On Sunday harvest festival services were conducted in St. James’ Presbybyterian Church. The building was suitably decorated with fruit and produce, and quite a considerable amount of time and skill had been given by willing workers to achieve the resulting fine effect. Suitable hymns were sung at both services. Mr. E. Allan occupied the pulpit at the morning service and in the evening the Rev. W. J. Youngson, M.A., officiated. There were good attendances at both services. SALVATION ARMY. The Salvation Army Hall was very prettily decorated on Sunday fast on the occasion of the harvest festival services. A splendid effect had been secured by the tasteful use of the fronds of the nikau and tree fern. Commandant and Mrs Hume conducted the services and i suitable hymns were sung.
