PRESENTATION.

On Friday afternoon last a pleasing little function took place at the Franklin Times Office, when Mr F. Hewitt was presented with a case of silver spoons from the staff and a cheque from the directors, on the occasion of his marriage. The editor, Mr J. Grainger, in making the presentation, referred in eulogistic terms to Mr Hewitt’s many good qualities and wished him every good wish for happiness in the wedded state. Mr Hewitt suitably returned thanks.
