On Sunday last harvest thanksgiving services were held in St. Bride’s Church, the vicar (Rev. J. C. Fussell) conducting- the morning service and Mr. Wvkes the evening service. The ladies of the parish decorated the church and there was an abundance of fruit and vegetables which have been forwarded t«> the Orphans Fume. The cricket team will be chosen from the following;:—A. Corntlnvaite (captain), E. C. Cuff, W. Finlay, S. Wilson, W. Moore, S. Kowe, C. Brooks, Gilroy, F. Kavanagh, Butler. W. Pieydell, Bngeant (2), and G, Howard.
